DevSecOps (Software) Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

Role & ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing cloud infrastructure and automation to support a cloud-based microservices architecture built (automate everything)Supporting the design, build, and operation of the CI/CD pipelines. Implementing CI/CD.Working on the design of the data platform to ensure that the software is scalable, resilient, compliant, and secureMonitoring, operating and performing upgrades on production systems. Managing, monitoring, and maintaining nonproduction systems. Skills & QualificationsMin. 6+ years of industry experienceExpert-level programming skills in Python (preferred), GoLang or Ruby.Extensive AWS or GCP experience (4+ years). This role is heavy on AWS.Extensive experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormationExperience implementing microservices with Docker, and orchestrating containers on the cloud through Kubernetes, ECS, and LambdaExperience managing data on S3 data lakes, SQL data warehouses, or NoSQL systemsKnowledge and understanding of data modelingExperience with web application frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI
