Backend Games Engineer London to £80k

Backend Games Engineer / Polyglot (TypeScript C# C++ Go Java). Looking for a challenging and highly rewarding Backend Games Engineer role within a luxury fashion gaming company with global success?

As a Backend Games Engineer you'll take on a high responsibility and impactful role working on a Greenfield project re-building the games architecture from scratch utilising TypeScript on the backend. You'll be joining a team of 8 and will be able to have a huge impact on the direction of the product and the architecture.

Based in London, you'll be part of a friendly and professional team. There is a lot of work from home flexibility and you will only need to attend the office 2 days a month.

Requirements:

An experienced software engineer with experience in any programming language: Java, C++, C#, GO (ideally a Polyglot)

It is essential that you come from a games development background

Must be happy using TypeScript for backend development going forward

Experience with API development and Microservices

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
