We're looking for a Product Operations Experience Lead to support the Product teams with collection and organisation of product data and insight; experimentation tools and processes; and improved communication and efficiencies.

We're looking for a passionate Product Owner to support the delivery of our measurement roadmap and strategy, building a culture of measurement and appreciation of data quality across all teams. You will lead and support all the product teams to ensure they have robust measurement and reporting in place for their features and work closely with the group digital analytics team and other key stakeholders across both Group and our local banner teams

You will report into the Product Operations Manager and work closely with them to drive the measurement and wider product operations capability forwards, leading a team of measurement analysts and developers to make our measurement strategy a reality.

Supports the delivery of the strategy and is responsible for the product roadmap for tagging, measurement tools, data layer requirements to support the collection of data and creation of reports for product teams and wider partners.

Manages requests and the backlog of work into Merkle and across product teams from banners and customers

Own the coordination of activities relating to measurement, analytics and instrumentation

Responsible for owning the implementation of digital measurement technology, influencing all Product Owners to ensure that new developments are tagged appropriately

Ensures that all Product Owners define day one reporting and work with the group digital analytics team to ensure that day one reporting is in place

Responsible for ensuring that change in front-end measurement tools is reflected in downstream data feeds (to data platform, single customer views and any other data consumer)

Works closely with the Data Science, Data Analytics, Ecommerce Centre of Excellence, IT, Banners and Functions (e.g., Finance)

Builds subject matter expertise and acts as an expert within the product teams for tagging and reporting across ecommerce web and apps

Leads key vendor relationships for Tealium and other tagging tools

Stay connected to the external market to identify the new & emerging trends, technologies and channels which will be powering the digital content growth in future years, and share this insight back into the business.

Proven experience as a Product Owner, Analyst or similar role with a strong commercial background

Strong analytical capability and experience of working in analytics and with tag management toolsets e.g. Google Analytics / Tealium etc

Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience with different methodologies

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Confident working with ambiguity

Comfortable with technical conversations - initiating and understanding them

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at all levels

Passionate about solving problems for our customers and surfacing value

Experience with JIRA and Confluence would be helpful, but not crucial

Retail background would be an advantage, but it is not essential

Some travel will be required for this role

Management of a team of 2 direct reports
