The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Software Engineer for a 9 Months contract Home based.As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for:Designing and developing software against requirements in languages including C# and JavaScript and consuming libraries and frameworks such as Node.js and MVC.Exploring new development techniques and tools that will enhance the performance, functionality and maintainability of the applicationsAdopting agile ways of working in your approach to development and encouraging others. Playing an active role in ceremonies or equivalent. Managing your own workload/tasks including setting priorities, estimating effort and tracking progress.Playing an active part in our team: helping to build an inclusive environment, sharing knowledge, and promoting development best practices with colleagues within the teamWhat we require from the candidate:Professional development experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, Node.JS and Visual BasicsProven experience in being able to take a concept for a software application from idea through design, development and into productionMain focus on existing applications and integrationData storage experience in SQL (e.g. SQL Server)This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.
