We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our?Technology?Directorate?at the Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS).
Parliament is currently going through an exciting period of digital transformation to deliver excellent digital services. The Architecture team is responsible for maintaining Parliament's enterprise architecture supporting the delivery of Parliament's digital and technology strategies. The team also provides solution architecture for projects and programmes - designing technical solutions for business problems and ensuring that those designs are aligned to the enterprise architecture, standards and policies.
The Role
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for solving business problems using technology. You will work with other teams in the digital service to understand business problems, identify viable technical solutions to those problems, support procurements, design the solution and ensure that the solution meets technical and cyber-security standards.
You will be expected to act as the technical lead on projects and programmes engaging with senior stakeholders in the rest of Parliament and with specialist colleagues within the Digital Service. You will have a broad technical understanding and deep interest in the work of Parliament and how all its component services come together to support the core purpose of Parliament.
