This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Silicon Photonics Engineer to join my client in Cambridge who are globally recognised. They are creating a new team to focus on Silicon Photonics and expand their market presence within communication markets. The Senior Silicon Photonics Engineer will be the technical domain leader within the photonics team and architect new designs, simulate waveguides and develop photonic integrated circuits. The Senior Silicon Photonics Engineer will understand Photonics component design, Lumerical FDTD simulation, and measurement techniques. Experience with PICs architecture is a plus. The key design tool of the Senior Photonics Engineer will be Lumerical FDTD for waveguides. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with experimental setups, prototyping and most importantly taking multiple different products from concept through to volume manufacture.
