A leading premium automotive business and leading to move towards electric autonomous vehicles.WHAT TO EXPECT :
Working as a member of the Data over the Air team you'll be working in a new and rapidly expanding area of the team. You'll be working with big data to help drive better quality and understanding into our customers' vehicles through efficient data analysis and visualisation.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Creation and maintenance of dashboards for different Powertrain teams
Drive capability enhancement of the analysis tools and department
Monitoring of data quality issues including debugging and issue resolution
Optimising data environments and data processes to support new delivery features for engineering analytics
Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
Essential:
Knowledge of functional and non-functional requirements for delivery of data
Knowledge and understanding of data analytics to support engineering requirements
Familiar with high-level languages including SQL and Python (and/or R)
Experience of SQL query writing, review and debugging
Relevant technical (Computer Science / Science / Mathematics) degree or equivalent experience in data analytics preferred
Quality process knowledge and toolset (Six Sigma)
Desirable:
Knowledge of analytics analysis in the automotive sectors
Knowledge of cloud database (AWS, Snowflake, Google Cloud, etc.)
Some experience of Python and packages for data manipulation, formatting, and exploratory data analysis.
Experience of Airflow, BigQuery on GCP and Presto/Athena, Spark, Dask and MongoDB
- Experience of working with suppliers and customers in the delivery of embedded control systems
