Our Technology colleagues thrive on working with individuals who are open, collaborative, supportive; and can quickly build relationships with colleagues across the business - a talented and diverse team is what will make us all successful.  The Head Digital Workplace will lead a team of eight, with the expectation to expand going forward as we head further into adopting the required collaboration and digital enablement of our organisation.  Think you have what it takes? - Get in touch and we look forward to hearing from you. Core Responsibilities: You will drive business value through identifying, shaping and delivering fit for purpose business technology solutions; you'll assist Penguin Random House colleagues with adopting new business technology solutions. Initiate understanding of the departmental business technologies and current priorities, identifying strategic demand of that department and providing early notice of needs into our in-flight programs such as ‘Future of Work'. Ensure seamless communication/escalation procedures are established across all functions supporting the delivery of business technology solutions. Provide appropriate advice on opportunities to exploit business technology solutions delivered by Penguin Random House. Improve quality of service delivery components implemented by ensuring adequate upfront involvement in solution design and solution readiness. Promote reuse of existing business technology solutions; you encourage the use of standards to reduce technical design debt. Candidate Profile: Passionate about innovation and loves leading technological change Strong business acumen, and a results-driven attitude with a focus on service and value. Leadership or team management strength; proven experience or strong potential to create a high performing technology team, with clear roles and responsibilities; defined skill-sets, training paths and progression planning.   Digital Workplace: IT estate transformation, Cloud transformation. Business Technology SaaS solutions: Collaboration Platforms such as M365 Modern Workplace and tooling such as Jira/Confluence/Service-Now. Digital Asset Management & Storage: Enterprise scale DAM across all media assets such as content, images and video. Endpoint Management tooling such as Jamf and SCCM, and MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune. Able to work proactively, with team members, vendors and other staff to achieve goals. A solid commanding presence and able to effect influence and take accountability for complex business technology decisions. Create a high performing technology team, with clear roles and responsibilities; defined skill-sets, training paths and progression planning.  Experience of managing a technology team at a senior management level is a must have. What you can expect from us: Salary: c. £90,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
