We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Desktop and Media Technician with a pro-active approach to join our successful ICT department, to provide quality service to staff, student, and partner organisations.

This role assists staff and students with technical support of desktop computers, applications, Audio Visual and related technologies. Support includes installation, testing of computer systems, AV equipment and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. The Desktop and Media technician will provide support to over 1500 staff covering 7 sites and over 200 teaching rooms across the different campuses. Common support problems dealt with by the team include hardware problems, application, and Microsoft suite of application issues. You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical activities and acting as the face of ICT when visiting customers to ensure their issues are successfully resolved.

This role includes installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and resolving computer/AV hardware and software issues. You will be providing hardware and software support for peripheral and mobile devices. Knowledge of basic networking, telecom and printer/scanner is essential.
