Development Manager - Ops ExcellenceManchester
£80,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to join my clients Operational Excellence team on a permanent basis!
My clients are two and a half years into the Op Excellence Programme which is a 5 year transformation, which is to embed continuous improvement / Lean Six Sigma principles into all projects across the business, removing unnecessary work improving processes. They are currently looking to on-board a Development Manager who will be responsible for
* Working collaboratively with the Head of Operational Excellence and members of the Executive team,
* Using evidence based assessment of strategic continuous improvement opportunities across the business system and value streams to devise appropriate service lines,
* Agreeing and prioritising those opportunities as part of the formal strategic planning process
This will encompass taking the current body of knowledge for Continuous Improvement (Lean / 6 Sigma) and embrace Agile, bringing them together to one set of methods and standards.
The successful candidate will have the radar on to think about the evolution of people centric thinking, whats after agile? Whats the emerging methodologies? Making sure it remains up to date and market leading.
