I am recruiting for two project managers to join a London based local government. One project manager will sit within social care and will have more of a digital focus and the other will be focused on improving the future of the local area and will be a non-technical, customer facing role.Client DetailsMy client is a local-government organisation based in London.Description* Extensive experience of multi-disciplinary project development and delivery within a political environment* Experience in leading and delivering technical and non-technical projects end to end

* Experience in managing technically complex projects across multiple teams covering areas such as IT infrastructure, networks, upgrades/enhancements and software delivery

* Experience of influencing, giving advice to, and building effective working relationships with Directors, Members, communities, partner organisations, private sector providers, public agencies and statutory authorities.

* Experience, evidenced by a record of success, of working in a large multi-disciplinary organisation with comparable scope, complexity and resources.

* Local Authority experience highly desirable especially around complex system implementation or re-configuration, design and delivery of digital and cloud solutions.

* Experience of maintaining partnerships and productive working relationships within a complex and/or IT delivery environment with senior managers and councillors, and a wide range of other bodies, such as suppliers, partner organisations, communities, public agencies and statutory bodies.

* Experience managing project resources and resources from different background and environments (matrix management).

* Experience of managing budgets successfully and strong business planning sills.

* Experience in financial planning and management and its application to projects.

* Experience of agile environments and can prioritise the most important or highest value tasks and can manage complex internal and external dependencies.

* Knowledge and practical application of the Government Service Standards, Government Accessibility Regulations and Information Governance principles.

* Line management, coaching and developing junior team members
