TECHNOLOGY STRATEGIST OPPORTUNITYReports to Chief ExecutiveLondon based companyHybrid workingExcellent salaryFlagship organisation that campaigns for artists’ rights, championing their sustained and vital contribution to the creative economy.They have developed numerous collection channels that distribute royalties to visual artists and their estates through Artist’s Resale Right, Copyright Licensing and Payback (Collective Licensing).They also work in partnership to deliver innovative programmes and business opportunities such as Vide Atelier which offered artists and estates a platform to sell limited editions with blockchain certification.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As Technology Strategist, you will work with an organisation that has a dynamic record in creating solutions that support artists to generate revenues whilst protecting their rights. The organisation is currently hybrid between office space in London and remote working that is mainly over Teams and Zoom. You will be responsible for directing and leading, in a hands-on manner, the implementation of cultural and digital transformation, delivering our Digital Strategy and helping us realise our ambition to be a digital-first organisation. You will also work across the current team and ensuring it has the IT infrastructure, software and tools to achieve our strategic priorities. The Technology Strategist will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will be expected to work closely with the CEO, COO, Director of Business Development and Director of Finance and Exec Board to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting the development of new products and services, ensuring that their technical infrastructure is robust, secure and efficient. My has a rich and complex business ecology in which it operates, and the role will suit somebody who likes to find and implement creative and innovative solutions and work in a collaborative and collegiate environment for a not-for-profit business with strong ethical values.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
Ideally you will be a computer science graduate with at least five years commercial experience in the design and build of successful customer facing solutions.You will be familiar and expert in software developments that build upon the current technologies we have in place and those which will enable us in our growth in response to blockchain and AI.Creative/Artistic background is relatable and beneficial.
