We're now looking for a Materials Scheduler to join our team in Capenhurst on a temporary, 12 month contract. The Role As a Materials Scheduler, you will oversee supply and demand, being aware of any imbalances, threats and opportunities for our supply chain. This engaging role will see you working across our supply chain function, supporting our sales and products teams whilst ensuring our supply chain has the right information to support our activities. Communicating with suppliers, you will confirm purchase orders have been received, as well as resolving any material supply issues and denoting any forecasted requirements. Additionally, you will: - Manage supply risk- Provide weekly demand forecasts
- Monitor component stock
- Update the customer service team of shortage, supply or delivery issues About You To be considered as a Materials Scheduler, you will need: - Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing supply
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- A team player mentality
- NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent and practical experience The Benefits - Salary of up to £28,000, depending upon experience
