PHP Developer - Contract - Inside IR35 - Market Rate - Fully Remote. Working with a great company that possesses great culture and autonomy, you will...Work within an Agile team to design, develop, and maintain our enterprise applications, e-learning portals, and web services with PHP on a mix of in-house and off the shelf frameworks and toolsApply sound software design patterns and industry standard conventionsDesign, build, and optimise database systems to support the above applications and servicesBuild client and management reports and toolsMaintaining a high-quality code base, documenting code as you developEvaluate feasibility and recommend technical solutionsContribute to the evolution of the developer tool-set and related technologiesRequired skills: Strong development experience with structured and object-oriented PHPMVC frameworks such as Symfony and ZendExcellent analysis and design skillsSystems integration technologies, including web services and APIsRelational databases design and implementationRaw SQL writing and optimisation, especially with MySQLStrong attention to code quality and readabilityHigh awareness of performance, scalability, and security considerationsSource code management with GitGood Hands-on experience on the LAMP stackHTML, CSS 2/3, JavaScript, jQuery, and DOM manipulationExcellent understanding of object-oriented design patternsExcellent problem-solving skillsHighly desirable: Enterprise level application developmentExperience with unit testing, regression testing, TDD/BDDContinuous Integration and Deployment concepts and toolsAWS tools, cloud architecture, containerisation technologiesAgile developmentGood to have or understanding of: JavaScript frameworks such as VueJSNoSQL databases such as CouchDB, MongoDB, CassandraMobile developmentIf you like the sound of the role or know someone who would, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me! email [email protected] or click apply on the advert and I will get back to you ASAP.
