This role is Hybdrid - Home based with 60% office work in SN6 8TY a month. Step Forward and Realise your full potential by joining an agile and talented team who is responsible for developing, building and supporting of specialist technical areas such as storage, server infrastructures, virtualisation, networks, etc. You will be a part of a great company, where you will be able to grow and develop your skills and experience What you'll be doing A typical breakdown of your role would be: Create reference architectures Support in the coaching and development of Prolinx Technical staff Support Prolinx business goals Provide fee based consultancy on Prolinx value propositions Assist in developing standard Prolinx solutions Support Pre Sales activities on major accounts/major prospects Work with Business Architects to define customer requirements Facilitate Discovery workshops Perform capacity planning Identify the transformation stages Architect designs that meet the requirements of the customer Align Solutions to positive business outcomes Create Designs incorporating tiering Create Statement of Works documentation and Acceptance Plan Perform Return on Investment analysis Interface with the Product Development Manager to define go to market solution offerings Develop improved solution architecture processes What we need from you We need someone that is; High standard of communication and motivation. Excellent time management & organisational skills. Ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audience. Ability to follow processes. Aptitude to learn new technologies. Prepared to travel when necessary to customer site or other Prolinx locations. Work autonomously or as part of a team. Ability to obtain Security Clearance to at least SC level What skills and experience do you need? Essential skills: Requirements definition. Solution Design
o Supports the desired business process & outcomes

o Creation and approval of cost models
o Ease of management, change & support Impact & risk assessment. Ability to document & communicate designs, implementation plans and build documentation. Customer facing skills; building effective business relationships with customers. Presentation skills. Leading workshops. Team leading, building and motivation skills. Ability to build working relationships with external organisations. Experience and Certification in the main vendor technologies used within the Prolinx Solutions. Understanding of related technologies such as virtualisation, server infrastructures, networks, Microsoft technologies, etc Desired skills: RedHat / Centos LINUX support and configuration. Working knowledge of VMware ESXI. Hyper-V working knowledge. Anti-virus technologies at enterprise level. Scripting. DR and business continuity experience. Incident, change and access control management (ITIL). Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM). What's in it for you?
