The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is delighted to advertise the opportunity of End User Compute Engineer in the Digital, Commercial and Information Directorate (DCID).

This is an exciting time to be joining DCID which brings together professional experts in digital technology, commercial services, security, information management and operational process transformation to deliver high quality services to the CPS. Our new mission is clear. We will build positive partnerships across the criminal justice system and with our colleagues, to implement innovative ways of working, reduce corporate risk, improve user experience, and enable colleagues to successfully deliver their business.

As a member of the Digital Technology Services directorate, you will be responsible for designing, creating, supporting and improving new and existing End User Compute services, products and platforms. This involves skills in areas such as end user computing, mobile device management, hosting and cloud services, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and networking technologies.

You will have opportunities to develop your career further, including using your Individual Learning Account (ILA) to attend training courses and get the chance to shadow colleagues to gain different perspectives. You will be supported in your progression with access to various promotion opportunities.

We're at the start of an exciting journey in this space as we start to build our internal capability. There is a huge amount of work to do and this role will be pivotal in our success. If you have the technical qualities we're looking for, it would be great to have you onboard.
