Java Developer Woking / WfH to £55k

Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java Spring). Would you like to progress your career working on cutting edge scientific software (mass spectrometer) used for a range of purposes including advancing more rapid drug discovery for the pharmaceutical industry?

As a Java Developer you'll join an Agile team and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with scientists to deliver the features required for this highly complex software. You'll be within a collegiate team environment, able to suggest and recommend technologies and reason about technical choices and decisions seeking continual improvement of existing systems via refactoring as well as new application features.

There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process and the ability to work from home; in time you'll join accomplished colleagues in the Woking office with continued flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week with an early finish on Fridays.

Requirements:

You are degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics)

You have commercial core Java development experience, Java 8 onwards, you'll be working with Java 14 on a new project

You have a good working knowledge of web based systems

You're collaborative and keen to learn / share knowledge
