Software Engineer vacancy at Health Information Company

This Software Engineer vacancy is available at a Digital Health Information organisation. The organisation produces a wide range of online Health Information products. Patients. clinicians, and hospital managers use the online products in order to make decisions about hospital treatments. The products, web applications, and middleware, which you, as Software Engineer, design, build, and support, helps to improve the delivery of Hospital and Health Services, and therefore this is a very rewarding environment in which to work.

About the role:

By joining a team of software architects software developers, and data engineers, you will create new online products as well as improving and adding to existing products, web applications, and middleware, in an Azure Cloud environment. As well as creating and improving the organisation's range of online products,  you will be involved in the full product lifecycle, and be part of SCRUM ceremonies.

The team embrace new technologies, as evidenced by the recent adoption of SVELTE.

Digital Health Information Systems is a fast developing area and therefore you will find that, as a Software Engineer, there is a constant process of improvement, as well as development of new online products. Examples of future developments include Natural Language Processing. Therefore this is a great environment in which to develop your skills and experiences, as a Software Engineer, in one of the UK's latest growing industries - Digital Healthcare.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range is £45-50k

Candidate criteria - Software Engineer

Experience of applying Secure Software Development Practices

Agile environment experience

Experience of JavaScript and C#

Knowledge of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), such as RESTful

Knowledge of Programming Paradigms, such as OOP
