Lead Java Developer London to £110k
Lead Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (API SpringBoot microservices) *Hybrid WFH*. Are you seeking a skilled Java Developer seeking a role where you can make a real impact, work with a modern tech stack on Greenfield systems and build a team around you?
You could be joining a FinTech that's Open Banking solutions are helping to transform consumer banking, driving improvements for customers.
As a Lead Java Developer you will remain hands-on with architecture and design whilst managing a cross functional team of software engineers and QAs to develop complex Open Banking software products. You'll be working with a modern tech stack encompassing Java 11, SpringBoot, microservices, AWS and Kubernetes, making technology choices and defining best practice as well as collaborating with product managers on the technical roadmap and strategy.

You have strong core Java architecture, design and development experience, Java 8 / Java 11
You have a good knowledge of the Spring framework including SpringBoot for microservices
You have experience building and deploying production level microservices using Docker (or Kubernetes / Helm)
You have experience with CI/CD and getting code into production quickly and efficiently
You have experience with TDD, Pair Programming and code reviews
You're collaborative with good communication skills and have team leadership experience
