Their capabilities span from grounds maintenance, surfacing, EV, infrastructure and winter services and they have an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients which is constantly expanding. As a result of huge plans for growth over the next few years they are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team in the North West.As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing multi-million pound contracts for a number of blue chip clients. This is an autonomous role where you will manage your own diary with site / office visits. The company place a huge emphasis on training and development and pride themselves on investing in their staff therefore this is a fantastic place to progress your career to Director level.The ideal candidate will have experience managing large commercial contracts within the Grounds Maintenance / Landscaping sector looking for an autonomous role working for a company with huge expansion plans for the next few years.The Role:

* Contracts Manager (Grounds Maintenance / Landscaping)

* Managing large commercial contracts for a number of blue chip clients

* Manage multiple grounds maintenance projects autonomously, ranging from initial planning through to completion.

* Understand the commerciality of projects including profit and loss, take leadership of the contract schedule.

* Liaise with the Estimating Department to ensure a full understanding of the allocated grounds maintenance project details and the client brief for project delivery.

* Schedule work and allocate resources, quality control and completion according to the schedule and client brief.

* Review with estimators the project scope and costs and make any adjustments required.

* Provide monthly progress reports and end of project reviews and completion certificates as necessary.

* Develop and evolve good client, supplier and staff relationships.

* Team management of grounds tradesmen and sub-contractors across projects and ensure quality and timeliness

* Oversee performance, financial control, customer service and HSQE

* Organising any plant, labour and materials for each project.The Person:

* Experience managing large commercial contracts within the Grounds Maintenance / Landscaping sector

* Good commercial awareness

* Full UK Driving License

* Happy to travel to sites within the North West
