Data Warehouse Engineer - RemoteMy client are a household name in retail who are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to join their team. You will be working within a collaborative culture where development is actively encouraged. The role will be fully remote and you will have the opportunity to work with the latest tech. The RoleSome of the main responsibilities of the role are:Helping with migration of on-premise data warehouse to a cloud-based data platform using Microsoft AzureBuilding pipelines to move data from a variety of sources into Power BI, using Azure data factory for data ingestionInvolved with data integration, data conformity, data integrityEnsure data transformations follow best practices, understood by developers and analysts, and are well documented Main Skill-SetWe are looking for a good mix of the below skills:Expertise with using SQL, in particular SSIS and SSMSPast experience as a data engineer using AzureExperience with data warehouse solutionsUnderstand Agile methodologies Desired Skill-SetSome skills that would be useful for the role, but not essential are listed below. Bear in mind, these aren't essential but are areas you will be able to develop your skills in with this role.Experience working with PythonExperience working with Azure Data LakeSome knowledge of Azure Data Factory and other SQL Azure principals Some experience working with Azure and SQL (particularly SSIS) is essential.
