Python Data Engineer London to £85k

Python Data Engineer (AWS SQL). Successful research consultancy is seeking a Python Data Engineer to join their growing team. You'll be working under the Head of Data Engineering on the company's core offering; a data terminal with 100 million+ data points that provide market data for hedge fund clients. You'll be responsible for building ETL pipelines, modelling data, gathering data from various internal and external sources and cleansing and preparing data for analysis.

Based in London, you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team. You will need to be able to commute to the office 3 days a week.

Requirements:

An experienced Data Engineer with strong Python engineering skills

Strong SQL

Good knowledge of ETL and Data APIs

Experience with Cloud technologies, Google Cloud Platform GCP preferred but AWS also considered

Understanding of how to best organise and model data for storage, retrieval and analysis

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Degree educated
