System Software Engineers - Driver Assistance are sought by this world leading developer of automotive software and systems to be based at their R+D Centre near Stuttgart. The System Software Engineer - Driver Assistance will be responsible for the development of embedded software in C and C++ for autonomous driving and ADAS applications. Working as part of a team the System Software Engineer Driver Assistance will be working on software and systems that will be central to the driver / vehicle interaction. Having completed your degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent you will have gained a good grounding in systems development, requirements engineering (UML, SysML) and embedded software development using C and C++. You will have a good knowledge in driver assistance systems, environment perception, lane control or braking systems and be able to demonstrate a real interest in this exciting, emerging technology. This is a real opportunity to move this technology forward towards level 5 autonomy. Candidates need to be authorised to work in the EU.
