Java Developer London to £70k

Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Multi-threading Java 8) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and gain valuable knowledge of real-time, low latency trading systems?

As a Java Developer you will design and develop complex real-time, low latency trading systems and execution services within a microservices environment. You'll focus on backend multi-threaded Java systems and will gain exposure to a wide range of tech (e.g. Oracle Coherence, SpringBoot, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Docker and Kubernetes), continually learning and developing your skills as part of a supportive Agile team.

There's currently a remote interview / onboarding process as well as work from home during the current social distancing measures with a great deal of flexibility going forwards (2 days office, flexible start times); when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace and break out areas.

Requirements:

You have commercial core Java backend software development and a good understanding of multi-threading

You have strong logic and problem solving skills

Aptitude and desire to learn, with a keen interest in low latency / high throughput systems

Collaborative team member keen share ideas

You're likely to be degree educated, Computer Science ideally
