You will develop software for testing: tools, frameworks and automated checks. You will use critical thinking and exploration to identify potential problems.Collaborate with a multi-functional, cross-site team of developers and product ownersCreate and implement software testing strategiesReview software requirements, designs and code with a focus on testability and finding problems earlyDesign and implement robust, maintainable automated checks and supporting frameworksPlan and perform testing appropriate for the feature under test, including exploratory testing that does not involve writing automated checksSet up dashboards or visual project management for reporting testing statusLead or participate in planning and estimation activitiesDocument and perform all software test and verification work meeting company procedures as well as regulations and standardsContinue to learn and coach team members in software testing, testability and maintainabilityQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.Automated test experienceFoundational computer programming skills and ability to write production-level codeComfort learning and using languages and technologies regardless of prior experienceStrong documentation experiencePreferred Qualifications

Consistent track record of leading, supervising, or mentoring other team membersExperience with developing or testing on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWSExperience in performance testing and/or security testing as well as TypeScript or JavaScriptFamiliarity with Python, C, C++, C# or SchemeSoftware testing experience in machine automation, robotics, liquid handling, or laboratory instrumentation.
