Your new role  Cyber Security Policy and Guidance Manager The Cyber Security Policy and Guidance Manager will develop, implement and maintain business-enabling policies and processes relevant to Cyber Security and Information Rights. They will consider local requirements and ensure adherence to applicable regulation and wider departmental and government policies. Please note successful candidates must be SC Cleared or be willing to go through full clearance checks at point of onboarding

What you'll be leading on  Collaborate and coordinate the development of policies, supporting processes and guidance for all aspects of Highways England's Cyber Security and Information Rights. Ensure effective coordination and collaboration with the relevant policy owners for Cyber Security and Information Rights. Ensure collaboration and coordination with Physical and Personnel security, internal assurance, and other Highways England's teams as appropriate. Act as the focal point for policy queries and guidance, directing to the relevant policy owner. Collaborate with external stakeholders and peers, such as Cabinet Office, Department for Transport and government security policy forums to ensure consistency and reduce duplication of effort. Working with stakeholders, coordinate the formulation, adoption and implementation of appropriate policies and guidance. Maintain and disseminate the style guide for policies and processes. Act as the custodian and version control for Cyber Security and Information Rights policies. Ensure policies and processes are regularly reviewed and develop a process for continuous improvement.   To be successful you will be/be able to demonstrate Experience of working in Cyber Security, including developing and implementing associated policies and standards. Awareness of cyber security policies and standards. Understanding and knowledge of definition, iteration, stakeholder challenge and approval of cyber policies and standards A bit about us National Highways uses huge quantities of complex data over the lifetime of our infrastructure.
