As a Barclays Software Developer, you will join the Compliance Technology team which transform the way we deliver innovative business solutions to our clients. You will assist the on-going delivery and upgrade of case management solutions within Compliance and Financial Crime utilising Salesforce. You will work closely with the UI development team of around 7 based in Glasgow, Pune and New York. There is an opportunity to be trained up and become certified in Salesforce. Developing accurate, timely and robust technical solutions based on business requirements and test specifications under the guidance of a technical lead
Contributing to providing accurate estimates to develop code that meets acceptance criteria and coordinating with off-shore and on-shore developers
Providing level 3 and production release assist and responding promptly to requests from the assist team in order to resolve end-user queries and handle technical issues
Participating in sprints, deployments into non-production and prepare for and participate in releases
Championing, developing and utilising Barclays Compliance DevOps tools as and when required
Participating in Agile ceremonies, delivering on goals specified for each sprint What we're looking for:
Experienced in Web UI software development owning small to medium size tasks
Willingness to cross train into Salesforce UI Development (No prior experience in Salesforce needed)
Experience in SQL and working on the Linux platform
Knowledge of JavaScript Skills that will help you in the role:
Awareness of DevOps tools - Nolio, BitBucket, Jenkins,
