Backend Software Engineer / DevOps London WfH to £100k
Backend Software Engineer / DevOps (Kubernetes API Golang) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have expertise with Kubernetes?
You could be progressing your career at an award winning technology-to-technology scale-up; you'll be creating cutting edge software based storage systems that are used by software developers worldwide whilst continually learning and improving your skillset.
As a Backend Software Engineer you'll focus on Kubernetes to extend the core product further into the Kubernetes cloud native ecosystem; you'll design, develop, build and test new features on the Kubernetes integration and integrate with Kubernetes distributors such as OpenShift and Rancher.
You will be the SME for all things related to Kubernetes and will take ownership of extending the company's use of the operator pattern to ensure that users have a streamlined experience, irrespective of the Kubernetes distribution they choose.
You'll be collaboratively problem solving within a team of industry experts who are passionate about innovation; there's a friendly and open culture where you'll play a key role and see the effects of you work.
Driven by technology the company can offer a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home; going forward you'll visit the London office around once a fortnight for team meet-ups.
Requirements:
You have expertise with Kubernetes including experience of creating objects within the Kubernetes API and Kubernetes Operators
You have strong Golang coding skills
You have a genuine enthusiasm for technology, likely to contribute to Open Source communities, attend meet-ups, write blogs etc.
You're collaborative and enjoy problem solving
