Treasury Analyst FX and Trade FinanceZurich, Switzerland - 6 month contract Our client, one of the leading companies within the Life Sciences worldwide is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst FX and Trade Finance Expert, for a 6 month project in Zurich, Switzerland to support, optimize and improve Trade Finance processes by becoming the global subject matter expert (SME)Tasks:Manage and advise on market risks, credit risks and trade risks and provides mitigation measures for all entities.Committed to ongoing efficiency improvement and development of optimal Treasury financial risk processes and tools while ensuring strong processes/controls and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholdersSupport balance sheet FX hedging program as well as FX Cash Flow program and become a subject matter expert in FX systems/software (AtlasFX, Kyriba TMS, FXALL)Ownership of hedging process (balance sheet and cash flow hedging programs) and ensure all imports and adjustments are correct and accurate and on timely submissionDeal with Treasury back-office activities to ensure confirmations and settlements are done correctly and in a timely manner.Analyze/identify forecasted exposures, recommend hedging strategies, execute external and internal FX deals, support accounting and reconcile forecasted exposures to actual exposuresReview best practices and hedging strategies with internal and external counterpartiesAnalyze and reconcile FX exposure, monthly FX gain/loss attribution, financial instrument valuations in coordination with reporting teamsSupport compliance of all FX processes and procedures, including SOX and audit testingsMonitor banking credit limits and counterparty exposure levelsReview ISDA master agreements with FX banks and ensure ongoing support when new banks are on-boardedSupport FX regulatory compliance in line with EMIR, FinfraG, Dodd Frank etc.Maintain FX process and control documentationMaintain month-end FX rates and market ratesSupport and act as global subject matter expert for trade finance and set-up additional global trade finance facilities for the issuance of bank guarantees/letters of credit as well as being the first contact for all external and internal stakeholdersCentralize bank guarantee management into Treasury centers through eLCY whereby reducing guarantee fees as well as preparing quarterly bank guarantee reportsRequirements: Bachelor's or Master degree in Finance, Economics or any other subject related3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Treasury preferred in a multinational companyAdvanced skills and understanding in treasury processes and systems with focus on FX risk management and Trade FinanceExperience in implementation of treasury processes/systems is a plusFluent in English, both verbal and in writingIT affinity and strong analytical/numeric/Excel skills are requiredSystem knowledge Kyriba TMS, AtlasFX, FXall and eLCY is a plusPrior experience in similar Corporate Treasury function is preferredDemonstrated ability to work across functions, regions and culturesAbility to work autonomously and pro-activeAbility to effectively manage and prioritise multiple activitiesA sound knowledge of various hedging instruments and derivative trading as well as trade finance are requiredI am a specialized recruiter, currently taking care of various projects within the Life Science industry in Switzerland.
