QA Test Automation Engineer London / WfH to £80k
QA Test Automation Engineer / Lead Software Tester (Python) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong Python coding skills? You could be taking a lead role at a fast growing, tech driven start-up where you can take ownership, set the technical direction and establish best practice whilst remaining hands-on.
As the QA Test Automation Engineer / Lead Software Tester you will set the technical direction for automated testing on a product that is set to disrupt the Life Assurance space via its advanced AI data platform, rewarding customers for a healthy lifestyle.
You will drive the QA culture within the company, collaborating with and advising software engineers on testing best practice, forming the testing strategy with a strong focus on test automation using best practice whilst remaining hands-on and creating test suites from scratch using Python. In time you'll help to recruit and build a team around you.
There's currently a remote interview process and the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the London office for part of the week but with a great deal of flexibility.
Requirements:
You have a strong knowledge of Test Automation and believe in automating wherever possible
You're able to create automated tests from scratch using Python (or other OO language, happy to use Python going forward)
You have experience of testing REST APIs, Mobile applications and Websites
You have experience of collaborating with Agile software engineering teams
You're excited about taking on a lead role and by the opportunity to build a team around you in a fast growing start-up environment
