IT Service Delivery Manager We're looking for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to join a large public sector organisation based in Manchester who are going through significant operational and technical change and transformation. In addition to the basic salary, there is a generous benefits package and flexible working available. The organisation and this opportunity will provide the Service Operations Manager / Service Delivery Manager a very interesting and varied role, which will provide real job satisfaction - your position within the organisation will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving services for local communities in and around Greater Manchester.Coming from a service delivery background, the successful candidate will have knowledge of a range of discplines ideally within an enterprise environment and have experience across one or more of the following functions (not all essential):Service Delivery Management / Service Operations ManagementIT Service Desk Management Change Management Problem ManagementRelease ManagementConfiguration and Asset Management Product OwnershipIT Project Management You should have experience of ITIL methodologies and ideally hold ITIL certifications. Any knowledge of Prince2 would also be beneficial, and strong leadership experience is essential. Proven experience of IT Service Delivery Management within a large organisation and having managed other managers/team leaders would be highly beneficial, along with a willingness to work closely with other stakeholders, management and technical team members in ensuring efficient and resilient processes are in place across the organisation.Please note flexible / hybrid working is one of the many benefits, however you will be required to work in central Manchester approximately 2/3 days a week.
