NOC Engineer / Network Engineer (Network Operations Centre)We are looking for a NOC / Network Operations Engineer to join a market leading service provider, to monitor, troubleshoot and configure a large Network Operations Centre providing services to thousands of customers. We require an engineer with some experience of Cisco and/or Juniper networking environments to carry out this key role within the organisation.You should ideally possess or be working towards CCNA / CCNP / JNCIA / JNCIP certifications, or possess an equivalent level of technical ability. The day to day responsibilities and complexities of the job will be varied, ranging from network upgrades, changes and maintenence, proactive network monitoring, troubleshooting, liaising with field engineers and various stakeholders, . The most important thing is to have the desire to learn new things and increase your technical expertise with a broad range of networking protocols and technologies.Experience required (not all essential):Proven experience of the following technologies within a NOC / Network Engineer / Technical Support role:MPLS / BGP / OSPF Cisco IOSCisco / Juniper / Huawei / multi vendor experienceExperience working in a data centre, or at 1st/2nd/3rd line supportWe have multiple opportunities, offering either standard working (daytime) hours without shifts, or a 24/7, 4 days on 4 days off rota.
