2nd Line Infrastructure EngineerExperis are currently recruiting for a number 2nd Line Technical Consultant(s) for a Central Government client to work alongside their service desk and 3rd line support team.Key responsibilities To analyse our existing Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and identify improvements through to deploymentProvide a vital role in IT projects whether as a project lead or part of a teamUpdate records held within our internal CMDB, making sure accurate reports can be created and future audit requirements can be managedDemonstrate a proactive nature to identify opportunities to improve technologies and their implementation across existing platformsEngage with staff to complete Intune laptop upgrades, coordinating handover logistics, training, and supportWork closely with our 3rd line support team to deliver assigned key tasksCollate detailed information on user accounts and assist with delivery of a single user IDGain a detailed knowledge of the ORR environment security requirements and to update existing account information and complete the steps needed to implement MFAUpdate infrastructure records held to assist with improving ORR ARC reportingRequirementsA strong detailed working knowledge gained from supporting a Microsoft Windows environment particularly Windows 10A comprehensive working experience of Microsoft Intune including desktop build creation, deployment and proactive improvementExcellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues with non-technical languageAbility to prioritise workloads and deal with conflicting demands from stakeholdersPrevious deployment and support of AZURE, in particular MFACreation and implementation of a single user ID environment and the removal of redundant logon accountsMicrosoft Windows 10 FoundationITIL v4
