We are in the exciting position of recruiting to our newly created Data Analyst vacancy, to join our Counter Fraud and Investigation Team. In this fascinating and varied role, you will work closely with our team of experienced and committed professionals who undertake a wide range of activities including preventing illegal subletting of our social housing properties, making anti-money laundering enquiries to verify the identity of individuals and organisations, and investigating a wide range of instances of suspected fraud.

Your experience in interpreting, analysing and evaluating various sources of complex data will greatly enhance our fraud prevention and detection capabilities. With accuracy and attention to detail, you will test, manipulate and analyse this data, to identify trends and anomalies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be educated to degree level with a mathematical / statistical component (or equivalent), or have extended relevant experience in a data analytical role.

You will also have:

Advanced skills in using Excel (or similar)

Effective research skills, to collate complex data from various sources

Excellent problem-solving skills to find novel solutions to problems

Great communication and report writing skills
