My client, a start-up biologics manufacturing facility in Waterford, are looking for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist to join their team. The CompanyGlobal biopharmaceutical company focused on improving patients' lives through commercialising quality, innovative medicines prescribed by primary care physicians, specialists and those who treat patients with rare diseases.The company's global headquarters are in Dublin. The company also has offices in the US and Europe. This role will be based in their start-up manufacturing facility in Waterford. The PositionThe purpose of the Senior Quality System Specialist is to ensue the highest quality standards for the product portfolios by managing the operational quality system including quality metrics, deviations, CAPA's, change controls, product complaints, documentation, internal audits, risk management, and training.Responsibilities:Continuing development, implementation and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality SystemSupport the preparing and compilation of Quality metricsReview of the PQS and management reviewProvide support for management of complaints, deviations, CAPA's and change controlsConducting internal audits and/or coordinating the self-inspection programSupport supplier qualification and internal quality reviewSupport site Quality risk management process Education & Experience;Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or a related discipline is desirable.5 years' experience working in Quality, with a minimum of 2 years in a systems focused roleThorough understanding of quality systems and cGMP.
