Salesforce Support / CRM Systems Support - Remote role

This post holder will have relevant experience that will allow them to play a key role in the future development of the CRM system.

The role will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of applications, extensions and integrations of the expanding Salesforce function

Client DetailsA world leading research institution providing top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to thousands of students.DescriptionPerform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.Develop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrations.Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality.Develop, unit test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective and scalable solutions.Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce platform.Follow and understand Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions.Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.Coach and mentor junior technical and functional team membersCommunicate effectively with wider IT-based teams.

ProfileESSENTIALRelevant experience with software development.Full-cycle experience of IT systems design, implementation and management.Experience of developing technical specifications documentation. Additional Software language skills (e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript)Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML)DESIREABLE Understanding of Academic Administration Processes.Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Kanban/Scrum Participation in the virtual Salesforce community (e.g., technology user groups, networking events, and technology organizations)
