ID Mobile, our MVNO are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead their Data Engineering team. Key Responsibilities Take responsibilities for Data Modelling - work with the broader data community to align the deliverables of the engineering team with the business needs. Own the overall Data Pipelines feeding the Data Model. This is, leading the process of gathering requirements from data owner, building data ingestion point, data transformation solutions, posting of data to appropriate tables and managing access to them. Develop solution with the scope of supporting the Data Science and Data Analytics teams. Take charge of the service maturity of the Data Engineering team - develop best practise for cloud based BI solutions that will serve as guideline across business-wide Data functions. Promote innovative alternatives to already existing solutions with scope to increase performance and reduce overhead. Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver insights, as well as significantly reduce resource overhead through automation. Key Skills Advanced experience in a Data Engineering with demonstrable experience of building end-to-end ETL/BI products Extensive experience with ETL / Data Integration tools, and an in-depth understanding of ETL concepts Expert level knowledge of at least two is essential - Python, SQL, R Expert knowledge of automation processes and version control tools Experience working on cloud platforms in a sandbox-type environment Previous experience working within the BI team for a Telco business would be ideal Strong communication skills We're one team and we celebrate all of the great things you do.
