Our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team is looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Delivery and Business Management (Cloud COE). You'll be accountable for all delivery projects and the business management of Cloud COE. You'll build and deliver strategic programmes, initiatives, campaigns, data insight and/or internal & external engagement plans for the Cloud COE and the wider Group to 'Help Britain Prosper', working proactively in partnership with stakeholders to drive an inclusive culture and environment that encourages colleagues and equips them with the right skills to ensure people and communities thrive in a digital world. You'll lead a team of professional delivery and business management colleagues. What you'd get involved with:

Programme/Project Set Up and Closure:

Writing and leading on the business study/programme proposals and business cases, ensuring alignment with business strategy; agreement of project benefits; and how these will be measured and tracked post implementation.

Leading the business area to ensure an effective approach to business implementation, handover, and acceptance of the change.

Governance and Reporting:

Leading the programme leads to provide regular status reporting appropriately and to agreed CMT standards and recommend options for contingency plans

Programme/Project Delivery:

Defining and implementing a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle, acquiring acceptance and agreement to the approach from all team members, and producing all project management deliverables, using established project methodologies, to the right level of quality.

Planning and Finance:

Producing and owning the project plan. Controlling, managing and monitoring project timescales and budgets, reporting variances, calling out as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs, and re-forecasting where necessary.

Resource Management:

Tracking and managing all resource requirements (including roles and responsibilities), budget and FTE profile for areas of responsibility.

Stakeholder Management:

Identifying key project stakeholders and develops an appropriate communication plan.

Engaging with the business to influence direction of projects to meet the project landmarks. Typically up to and including Grade G level.

People and Self Development:

Managing, motivating, developing and mentoring assigned team members to build a successful team.

Risk:

Continuously monitoring and managing projects for risk issues and regulatory compliance and takes appropriate steps to mitigate.

Business Management Leadership for the Cloud COE:

Leading the overall team that supports the function, including:

Strategic Vision and OKRs

Supplier Relationship Management

Demand and Supply Management

Talent Strategy Management

Business Operations and Workforce Logistic ownership

What's needed to be considered for this job?

Essential:

Experienced in leading a team of delivery leads and applying the key principles of change management to Gold and Silver programmes across the Group, and external business environment is seen across the organisation as a change SME

Recent experience in Cloud delivery and within the LBG Public Cloud Platforms

Recent experience of driving organisational change (including strategic core programmes), to improve business outcomes and provides appropriate support mechanisms

Experience in delivering multiple projects across varying methodologies

Track record of delivering results - gives colleagues autonomy to implement business strategy, whilst remaining personally accountable for delivering on promises

Experience in all aspects of Business Management and leading teams in this capability

Strong business acumen - creates competitive advantage and generates positive value through strategic business planning and execution. Has an in-depth understanding of the Global economy and macro-economic trends and the impact on the LBG business model, and incorporates this into short and long term strategy

A strong Risk & Compliance approach - proactively assesses and analyses relevant threats and missed opportunities, and develops effective risk mitigation plans in response to threats

Awareness of the Regulatory environment - is able to identify and anticipate future regulatory requirements and their implications

Resilient under pressure - the ability to remain calm under pressure and lead the team effectively through constrained timescales and difficult programmes

Desirable:

Knowledge and understanding of the Lloyds Cloud Control Framework

Ability to read the audience and adapt communication style accordingly - can communicate between the technical and non-technical

Can deliver both Business Change and IT Change projects/programmes

Inspires colleagues to deliver their best performance and behave in accordance with the LBG Values & Behaviours

To have previous experience influencing stakeholders of all levels. Able to manage their expectations and facilitate discussions across high risk and complexity or under constrained timescales
