This opportunity is location flexible. We will consider requests for locating the role at an alternative Barclays' key UK office from that advertised. What will you be doing? You will produce SOLID code with excellent test coverage
Leading the team, providing support to colleagues reporting into you
Identifying own and others' development needs and seeking opportunities to address these needs through guidance, coaching and formal training
Fulfilling all mandatory training requirements, remaining current on all regulations and compliance rules and administrative functions What we're looking for: Good command on the Java programming language such as, Java J2EE ( EJB, JPA, Struts), Javascript, Ext-JS / Angular JS, TreeGrid, Jboss Drools
Proven experience in using Spring Framework and data structures
Experiece in Weblogic/JBoss, SQL (MS-SQL preferred) & Messaging JMS/EMS/MQ / XML
Good knowledge of emerging software development methods, tools and standards and actively keeping this knowledge current Skills that will help you in the role: Capital Markets experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Where will you be working? Based in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre. Offering a modern working environment, with restaurants, bars and gyms just a stone's throw away from the office. OR
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
