Position: Product Manager - Beacon Core

Role Description:

Beacon is looking for a Product Manager to focus on our development tools and core platform product. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a shared product vision, building a roadmap and working with Engineering teams and Project Managers to deliver that vision. The Beacon Core product includes an enterprise-scale elastic cloud infrastructure, a modern data warehouse, automation services, and powerful developer tools. The ideal candidate will have experience as a hands-on Product Manager in a high growth SaaS or PaaS business.

Key Responsibilities

Becoming an expert in Beacon's developer tools product offerings, including our IDE, SDLC, Testing Framework, and other components.

Defining and managing the developer tools product swimlane, including the long-term product vision.

Establishing and maintaining clear communication of the product roadmap with internal teams and Clients. 

Determining customers' needs through external data gathering and analysis, pre-demo requirements gathering, meetings with customers, and collaboration with the Sales and Engineering teams.

Developing and executing a go-to-market strategy that addresses product, pricing, messaging, competitive positioning, and product launch and promotion in partnership with sales and marketing.

Working with Engineering teams and Project Managers to implement the product vision.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience as a hands-on product manager in high-growth SaaS or PaaS businesses.

Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Development / Technical Lead

Experience working effectively with development teams to deliver technology products.

Experience working across multiple disciplines, presenting findings to an executive audience and publishing findings in a written format.

Experience as owner with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between customers and engineering.

Demonstrated experience in successfully launching products with revenue impact.
