Trainee Quantity SurveyorSandy, Bedfordshire£20,000 - £30,000 Excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing company where you will receive extensive support from the Managing Surveyor to become a fully fledged Quantity Surveyor with the opportunity to progress your career into Senior roles.Do you have a background / interest in Construction? Are you IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel?This company design and manufacture specialist structures for customers across the construction sector. They are a key supplier to a number of large housebuilders and have seen an impressive period of growth over the past few years which has resulted in them moving to larger premises. They have ambitious plans for the future and are currently looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team and develop with the company.In this role you will work closely with the Managing Surveyor, assisting with the procurement of sub contract packages and preparation of sub contractor tender packs as well involved in negotiation, contract administration / cost control. You will receive full and extensive training to become a qualified Quantity Surveyor and for the right candidate, opportunities to progress into senior level roles are available.The ideal candidate will have a background / interest in construction with strong IT skills who is looking to build a career as a Quantity Surveyor within a growing company.The Role:

* Trainee Quantity Surveyor

* Working closely with the Managing Surveyor

* Assisting with preparation subcontractor tender packs

* Negotiation with sub contractors

* Preparation of order documentation

* Contract administration and cost control

* Full Training provided
