BPA Pricing Senior ActuaryLondon
£80,000 per annum
Experience required:
* Experience in a consulting or financial services firm would be ideal, with a focus on life insurance, annuities / retirement, and / or experience in the pensions sector
* Nearly or recently completed the exams for FIA/FFA qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience in financial modelling and cash flow analysis
* Knowledge of Solvency II requirements
* Experience of successfully managing projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
* Well-developed verbal communication skills
* Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity
* Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
* Strong analytical and creative skills
* Enjoy training/mentoring junior staff
BPA Pricing Senior Actuary - Responsibilities:
* Lead pricing discussions with awareness of actuarial and commercial considerations
* Recommend actuarial bases and undertake analysis of policyholder / member data and develop insights into appropriate assumptions
* Responsible for modelling, analysing and reviewing cash flows, and managing the models and tools (in both a maintenance and development capacity)
* Deliver superior, consistent project management
