Role- RF Hardware and Software Test Engineer Salary- £50,000 - 60,000 per annum dependent on experience Type- Permanent Location - Hampshire Security Clearance required My client works within Electronics and RF industry. The RF Hardware and Software Test Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Experience in integration, test and verification of RF systemsExperience in integration, test and verification of real-time embedded systemsHands-on experience of trouble shooting and communication of found issuesHands-on experience with lab test equipment such as VNAs, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators, Power Supplies, etc.Willingness to work in a lab environmentAbility to effectively interface with design teams and other stakeholdersExperience in developing and maintaining automated RF Test SystemsBasic programming skills in Java, Python, Labview, Matlab or similarThe RF Hardware and Software Test Engineer will involve:
Integration, test and verification of complex software defined RF sensors built up by sophisticated signal processing algorithmsUnderstanding requirements and translating them into practical test casesDeveloping and maintaining automated test systems together with SW designersGenerating test reports, analysing results, and identifying design improvementsSupporting design team with design related tasks such as reviews and trouble shootingIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
