An exciting opportunity for an Android Software Engineer to join a world leading communications technology company, working on the next generation of their products - from design to launch.You will be involved in analysis, design and product testing and as an Android Software Engineer and you'll need the following skills/knowledge:
Strong Java and Kotlin experience, acquired on commercial Android projectsExperience of Android Middleware developmentAndroid OS architecture and ecosystemAndroid SDK and APIsUnderstanding of the Android security architecturePrevious experience developing Android Apps offering a mix of voice and data features, and a variety of wireless/wired standards (e.g. WiFi, BT, USB, Ethernet) for mobile platforms is highly desirable for this roleWorking in a global development team, you'll have the chance to bring new ideas and features to the company's core products and will have a big impact on the final output.
You will be equally working on R&D projects, as well as product development, so there is plenty of variation and opportunity to explore new technologies.
