Our English Technology department has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, collaborative and decisive manager to join the team as a Platform Delivery Manager.

The Role
We are currently building an ambitious digital learning solutions for language learners and teachers across the globe and looking for the technical delivery manager to take the overall accountability for Technical Delivery of the English Technology Programmes and Projects for a platform or range of platforms, ensuring the optimum solutions are delivered and that the benefits are achieved.
The role will work with other parts of the English Technology team, wider Technology and business to deliver a ‘fit for purpose' platforms and associated technologies that deliver the very best service to Cambridge University Press & Assessment and our Customers.
About you
You should have:
A strong and proven technical delivery of significant functionality and solutions end to end
Knowledge and experience of different Delivery models from Agile to Waterfall
Good collaboration skills with excellent stakeholder and relationship management for working in a matrix organisation
A strong leadership and team development qualities and had experience in working with and supervising teams globally
Development and delivery of Technology Strategy or parts of a Technology Strategy
Knowledge of best practice in Support, Quality Assurance and Change management
Commercial acumen and very strong third party management
Cultural awareness and experience of working with offshore staff and businesses.
Demonstrable customer and user focus
Broad technical knowledge and background
This is an important and visible role within both Technology and the wider business, leading the management on some of our business critical platforms.
