They have a key focus on future proofing the organisation from a Network perspective, recruiting for this Network Architect role based from their site in Hatfield.DescriptionNetwork Security Architect - Telecoms Responsible for future Network ArchitectureResponsible for Service and Network Innovation, including utilising available resources and driving desired new innovations into deliveryResponsible for IT & Network SecurityResponsible for outsourced development teams and new product qualityResponsible for ensuring all new service capabilities are clearly documented and supportable before they are passed to delivery and support functionsPerform other duties as assigned or requested including:Deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needsImplement integrations as requiredDeploy updates and fixesBuild tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve team and customer experienceDevelop and oversee third party development of software to integrate with internal back-end systemsPerform root cause analysis for production errorsInvestigate and resolve technical issuesDevelop scripts to automate visualisationDesign procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenanceProfileNetwork Security Architect - Telecoms Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering roleGood knowledge of Linux & Java/JavascriptWorking knowledge of databases and SQLExcellent team working and communication skillsExcellent attention to detailGood organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeAwareness of DevOps and Agile principlesProblem-solving attitudeExperience developing engineering applications for a large companyKnowledge and understanding of the interdependencies of functional departments and groups and the ability to lead large-scale complex IT projects in addressing overall business needs Knowledge of advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principlesKnowledge of informational technology disciplines, e.g., software applications and interfaces, production operations, quality assurance and systems management, etc Knowledge of project management process and systems, ITIL/ITSMJob OfferNetwork Security Architect - TelecomsHatfieldTelecommunicationsOffering a market rate salary for this position, based on level of experience.
