I am currently working with one of our Banking clients in the Manchester area who are looking to source a Financial Accountant for 9-12 months on a Fixed Term Contract. This role would suit a recently qualified accountant from an audit background, or someone with experience in the financial services industry. This role would be ideal for someone who is seeking a position which combines technical accounting and reporting.Role requirements;
* Monthly management accounting
* Monthly reporting
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Year end and half year accounts
* Providing reporting and insight to the wider Finance team as required
Profile requirements;
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
* Experience of reporting under IFRS.
* Financial Services exposure would be an advantage.
* Experience with month-end/year end processes.
