Senior SQL BI Developer

International Banking Group

c.£75-£85k + Benefits + Banking Bonus

Working Week: 1-2 Days Office / 3-4 Days Remote

Central London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Senior SQL BI Developer to join the organisation at VP level.

You will work within a very large environment (7-8 TB) as part of a BI team spanning three continents. You will bring experience of large-scale data warehouse design and development, expertise of Microsoft SQL Server, and the ability to manipulate large data volumes through partitioning and columnstore indexing.

Key Skills / Requirements

-Excellent Core MS SQL Server Skills (TSQL, Integration Services / SSIS, SQL Performance Tuning)

-Can perform manipulation of large data volumes (Partitioning and Columnstore Indexing)

-Experience of large-scale SQL Data Warehouse Design and Development

-Ideally experience of working with P&L and Risk Measures

-Competent at VP level / acting as a technical lead (no line management required)

-Investment product knowledge useful (OTC Derivatives, FX, Cash Products, Corporate Banking)

This opportunity will require you to be on-site in the central London office 1-2 days a week, with the remaining 3-4 days spent working remotely from home.
