£35,000 - £45,000 + HolidayThis is a fantastic opportunity for a talented VB.NET Software Developer to join an established and growing company on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will play a key role where you directly impact the business' growth and be recognised as a company expert.This company are specialists in offering design, engineering, fabrication and industry training to the mechanical and electrical industries. You will be joining an ambitious team looking to disrupt how the industry delivers complaint and data backed M&E support installations.The ideal candidate will be proficient in Software Design and Development using VB.NET in illogic. And have a working knowledge of at least one compiled language. You will be able to develop software in a variety of contexts and work in all phases of product lifecycle, working with clients from estimation and requirements, through specification, design, validation and signoff.The Role:
*Design, build and run code using industry best practice
*Collaborate with more senior engineers in defining the evolvement of best practice
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice and code within your team
*Use existing languages / frameworks / tools and adopt new ones as needed.
*Based in Nottingham officeThe Person:
*Proven proficiency using VB.NET
*Working knowledge of at least one compiled language
