Technical Administrator - Fabric, Fashion - London Technical Administrator - Fabric, Fashion - LondonThe duration of the contract is 2 months.The location of the role is Paddington, London.The pay rate on offer is £15 per hour.The client is a large, multinational high-street retailer.Key accountabilitiesNeed to be able to come into our office 5 days a week to build a fabric library.Extracting information from our online fabric library and using this to build accurate fabric labels for the physical library.Hanging fabrics in our library with the correct label attached and to the correct specifications.File fabrics in the appropriate order so relevant fabric types are grouped together.Prepare swatches and fabric spec data for sending out to our sourcing offices, so they can build replicate libraries in region.Take reference photos of our fabrics and upload these into the PLM system.Following detailed instructions to a high standard.Following a project plan to meet deadlines for the library being built, and ultimately delivering a completed fabric library.Key skills and experienceBasic understanding of different fabric typesComputer literate on Microsoft systems such as Word and Excel. Ability to learn how to perform basic actions on our PLM system.Great organisational skills.An excellent eye for detail. Accurate fabric cutting skills will be needed.Multitask orientated and efficient, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.Hands-on approach to practical tasks.Good communication with fabric technology team.
